FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is a QNC, Qualified New Consultant?
A: For this promotion, a QNC is a Consultant who joins JAFRA and accumulates $400 in Personal Retail Sales, in the month they join or the following month and during the qualification period.

Q: If I sponsor a New Consultant in November 2018 and she becomes a QNC in December 2018, will she count for the Summer Trip Qualifications?
A: No. All new Consultants must be sponsored between December 1, 2018–May 31, 2019 and accumulate $400 in Personal Retail Sales, in the month they join or the following month and during the qualification period.

Q: If I sponsor a Consultant in May 2019 and she becomes a QNC in June 2019, will she count for the Summer Trip Qualifications?
A: No. All new Consultants must be sponsored between December 1, 2018–May 31, 2019 and accumulate $400 in Personal Retail Sales, in the month they join or the following month and during the qualification period.

Q: If I sponsor a Consultant in December 2018 and she becomes a QNC in January 2019, how many points do I get?
A: You will receive 18 points, as your New Consultant became a QNC in January.

Q: If I sponsor a Consultant in December 2018 and she accumulates $400 in February 2019, how many points do I get?
A: Sponsoring Points: You will receive 0 points. In order for you to receive points, your December New Consultant must accumulate $400 in Personal Retail Sales in the month she joined (December) or the following month (January). Sales Points: You will be awarded 10 points for her February Retail Sales of $400.

Q: If my goal is the Diamond Level with airfare and I earn 1,050 points, however I only have 20 QNC’s, can I still attend the trip?
A: Yes, however you will attend as a Gold Level achiever. In order to achieve the Diamond Level, it is necessary to achieve the minimum 25 QNC’s and the required points.

Q: If I earned the Diamond Level with airfare (total of 1,050 points & minimum QNC’s), however I plan to drive, will I be compensated?
A: Yes, if you chose to drive, you will be compensated for the Airplane Points, according to the number of people attending, up to $200 each.

Q: What are the requirements to promote a FIRST TIME New Manager?
A: To promote to Manager, you must achieve the following in a month:

Q: Once I promote a New Manager, what does she have to do to achieve her Central Branch Requirements?
A: New Manager must maintain title by achieving this every month:

Q: If I promote a first time New Manager on April 1st, however she does not achieve her Central Branch Requirements in April, do I still get 40 points?
A: Yes, you will get 40 points for promoting her, however you will NOT get an additional 40 points because she did not meet her April Monthly Maintenance Requirements.

Q: I am a Bronze Level achiever, may I buy-in a guest?
A: No. Buy-ins are not allowed for Summer Trip 2019.

Q: If I choose the Universal Orlando Resort™, can I attend Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park® as mentioned on the December 2018 Action insert?
A: If you choose the Universal Orlando Resort™ Option, you may take advantage of the 2-Day 2-Park Tickets, which include Universal Studios Florida & Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park is no longer an option.

Q: How will I be able to track my points for the Summer Trip?
A: You may track your progress on jafrabiz.com > My Business > View Reports > Summer Trip.

Q: Who should I call when I have a question regarding my Summer Trip tracking?
A: You may call the Business Information Department at 1(800) 852-3728.

Q: At the close of the Summer Trip, when may I submit an inquiry for qualification?
A: The inquiry deadline is Friday, June 7, 2019. Please contact the Business Information Department via email at jafracares@jafra.com. All inquiries should contain the subject line: Summer Trip Inquiry. Please make sure to include your Consultant ID#.

Q: When will I receive my travel documents?
A: Approximately two weeks prior to the trip. Your JAFRA travel documents will be sent to the address you entered when registering. Packages will be delivered to a physical address; therefore, P.O. Boxes are not valid. Disney information, including luggage tags and MagicBands will be mailed to you approximately two to three weeks prior to arrival in Orlando.

Q: What sort of documentation do I need for air travel within the United States?
A: You will need to travel with a government-issued photo ID like a driver’s license or passport that exactly matches the name printed on your ticket or itinerary.

Q: I registered for the Summer Trip and will not be able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Will I receive a cash equivalent?
A: No. There is no cash value for the Trip.

Q: When will I be notified that I have achieved the Summer Trip?
A: All achievers will be notified by email no later than the week of June 10, 2019 (or sooner).

Q: How will I register for Summer Trip after being notified of my achievement?
A: To complete your registration, please access the link provided in your notification email.

Q: What is the deadline to register for the Summer Trip?
A: The deadline to register is Friday, June 14, 2019.

Q: What happens if I miss the June 14, 2019 deadline to register for Summer Trip?
A: Your trip will be voided. No extensions will be honored.

Q: Am I responsible for providing accurate and correct personal information when I submit my registration?
A: Yes, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Each change after June 14, 2019 is subject to a $35 fee, in addition to applicable fees collected by the airlines.

Q: I have already submitted my registration; however, I need to make a correction to my personal information. How can I make changes to my registration?
A: Submit changes at jafraorlando19@mcievents.com. Be advised that each change made after June 14, 2019 is subject to a $35 fee in addition to applicable fees collected by the airlines.

Q: I was a Summer Trip achiever. Can I transfer or give my trip to another Consultant?
A: No. The trip is non-transferrable.

Q: How and when may I cancel registration for myself?
A: Once your flight has been booked, you may cancel your registration within 24 hours.

Q: What happens if I miss the deadline to cancel?
A: Any cancellations received after your deadline, a $450 fee toward flight and hotel non-recoverable expenses will be charged to your JAFRA account.

Q: I have an emergency situation and will not be able to attend. How do I cancel?
A: The achiever must submit their request in writing along with attached documentation to jafracares@jafra.com by Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in order to be considered for exemption. Please label subject line: Trip Cancellation Consideration. Please include your Consultant ID#. Requests made after this date will not be considered. No phone requests will be accepted. JAFRA will provide a decision or follow-up by email to all submissions within 10 business days from the request date.

Q: How do I make arrangements for an extended stay prior to or after the Summer Trip event?
A: Pre and/or post extensions are subject to availability and may be requested during online registration. Any additional expenses incurred as a result of an extended stay will be your responsibility, including transportation to non-Disney properties.

Q: I plan to extend my stay, will airport transportation be provided?
A: Transportation to and from our Disney resort hotels will be provided on any date, BUT if you are extending at a non-Disney property where Magic Express is not offered, transportation will be your responsibility.

Q: I am a Summer Trip achiever and want to specify my own air carrier. May I use my carrier of choice?
A: JAFRA’s Travel Team will make every effort to accommodate these types of requests as long as the request does not interfere with group travel periods and JAFRA’s ability to achieve the lowest possible fare.

Q: Can I bring my breast-feeding infant to the Summer Trip?
A: Yes, nursing mothers and infants are welcome. If the infant becomes the 5th person in the hotel room, additional hotel charges may apply.

Q: Will meals be provided during the event?
A: Yes, one group meal on Thursday evening, July 11. For the remainder of the trip, you will receive a meal allowance of $250 per achiever and each guest. All meals are at your discretion as to place and time.

Q: Will I need extra money while on the Summer Trip?
A: We suggest bringing money for snacks, souvenirs, gratuities, and incidentals (charges placed on your room account for laundry, in-room movie, meals other than those provided by JAFRA, etc.).

Q: Who may attend the Kids’ Party on Thursday, July 11?
A: ONLY children who are registered guests of the JAFRA Summer Trip Family Edition may attend the Kids’ Party.

Q: How old does a child need to be to attend the Kids’ Party on Thursday, July 11?
A: A child must be a minimum of 5 years old.

Q: If my children are younger than 5 years old, what services can I arrange for my child while I attend the Gala and Recognition Dinner?
A: You may contact Kid's Nite Out (Disney’s on-site child care provider), at (407) 828-0920, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week to arrange for your own child care services. Hourly rate, per child, will apply and is the responsibility of the achiever.
