After much discussion and careful deliberation, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel AVMA Convention 2020 (July 31-August 4) as an in-person event in San Diego, CA, as well as the Cannabis Symposium and other meetings related to the convention.

All registrations will be cancelled on your behalf. All registration fees will be fully refunded within 90 days. There is no further action needed on your part. The current situation has caused a significant backlog and we will be processing individual refunds as quickly as possible. We kindly ask for your patience during this time.

For airline bookings, please follow up with your travel agent or air carrier directly. If you booked your hotel outside the AVMA block you’ll need to follow up with the hotel directly.

While we're disappointed that we had to cancel our Convention, we're exploring virtual conference options as an alternative meeting. We'll be sending more details about that in the coming weeks. We're also looking forward to the AVMA Convention returning stronger than ever to Minneapolis in 2021.
